The Model 745 and Model 765 are new next generation products with
enhanced features. These new products are direct replacements for
Models 740 and Model 760 which are used as transfer standards in
laboratory and field applications. A six
year test of a high pressure Model 760-10K showed rms conformance
better than 0.002% of full scale and a total error of less than 0.008%.
These standards have also been used in an international
calibration and intercomparison study originated by the Norwegian
Meteorological Institute (DMNI). Additionally, barometers are in
an ongoing stability
test with a median drift rate of -0.007 hPa per
year. Mean
pressure hysteresis on a group of standard production barometers was
0.001% (0.01 hPa).
Measurements
of the performance of primary
pressure standards demonstrate the high resolution and accuracy
of Paroscientific Instrumentation.
